The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE Set To Launch July 5th?
Ahh, the elusive HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE is back in the news, again but has yet to launch, again! The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE may have the longest name in cell phone history but it is also still waiting in the wings. The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE was first announced back in May at CTIA and has since made its way through the halls of the FCC. Shortly after its government approval pictures of the handset leaked out thanks to the unsteady hand of the legendary Mr.Blurrycam. Around the same time a press rendering hit the streets and showed us what to expect from the Incredible 4G LTE. In an ongoing case of leakiness, the Droid Incredible 4G LTE also hit Verizon’s own DroidDoes.Com website before abruptly being removed. So when can we actually see the Droid Incredible 4G LTE? Or will it go the way side like its distant cousin the Merge?
Monday a new piece of evidence surrounding the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE emerged, proving further that this device does indeed exist. DroidLife.Com got their hands on what can only be described as internal documentation that shows off some key features, pricing and launch dates for the Droid Incredible 4G LTE. The new Incredible 4G LTE shows up in this leaky system pic priced at $199 bucks on a new two year contract. DroidLife also mentions that there is a chance for it to carry a $50 dollar rebate making the handset priced at around $150 bucks, which seems to sit a bit better when compared to the $199 Galaxy S III. According to the leaked document the Droid Incredible 4G LTE should launch across all channels on July 5th 2012. While the reason for its launch delay is unknown, it is assumed the device would line up with the launch of Verizon’s new controversial Share Everything Data Plans. The Droid Incredible 4G LTE comes with all the specs your little heart could desire. It starts with the likes of Android version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and will be skinned to the brim with the power of HTC’s very own Sense 4.0. Its S-LCD touch screen will measure in at 4 inches and come packing a 540×960 pixel resolution at 275 pixels per inch. Internally the Droid Incredible 4G LTE will use a dual core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon S4 chip set that will get some help from an internal graphics processor, 1 GB of Ram and 8 GB of built in storage. Expandable memory options can accommodate up to 32GB. Around back an 8 mega pixel camera can record video in full 1080p HD and a front facing shooter is available for all your video calling needs. Additionally we can expect Bluetooth 4.0 with about every profile available (see picture), Wi-Fi 802.11, micro USB, HDMI via micro USB, NFC, DLNA and MHL connectivity.

I work at a retailer and just received pop material that with the Droid Incredible 4G LTE launch on it. It appears to be promoting the Olympic games as well as the device is capturing a stunning picture of a swimmer.

I think the Incredible 4g will be a great alternative for those of us who want more power, but don’t necessarily want a bigger phone. I love my Incredible 2, and look forward to the debut of the Incredible 4g!

I’m pretty sure I will get it. I’ve had the incredible and.incredible 2 and while I’d much prefer a one series phone on Verizon this may be what I go with due to my allegiance to HTC and hesitancy to change. Unless the s 3 is super awesome, the 4G Ness of this phone plus the sturdy Ness and feel of the incredible 2 I will probably upgrade to the 4G version. That is all

No mention of NFC. It would be nice if you told the whole story.

I will believe this when it happens. Verizon’s handling of the phone is giving me thought to move back to AT&T.

Get on with the release of this phone already!
I’m an original Droid Incredible owner. I’ve been waiting to upgrade and the delay in this release has been very frustrating. I’ve already purchased a silcone case and screen protectors for this phone…… and yet I’m STILL waiting to get the phone. Go figure!
