The Desire 709d brings the line up its five inch screen. The panel offers up a 960×540 pixel resolution and is built into a housing that measures in at a slim 9.3mm. The handset is poised to run Android version 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and of course run with HTC latest version of Sense. The new Desire gets its operational go from a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor that clocks in at 1.2 GHz. Additionally the new Desire sports 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage and expandable micro SD memory options up to 64 GB. The new Desire also supports dual SIM functionality, an 8 mega pixel camera, a 2.1 mega pixel front facing camera, HTC’s front facing BoomSound speakers and a 2100 mAh battery. The Desire 709d is destine for China and can currently be found gracing HTC China website. There is no word on this device launching in other markets and will launch with all three major Chinese carriers.
