Is the HTC Desire 610 Heading to Ma’Bell?

HTC_desire_610The HTC Desire 610 makes its way to Ma’bell! HTC and their new Desires are making themselves available. Take a look at most of HTC’s competitors and you’ll notice a never ending array of mid range devices that are priced affordably and seemingly sell very well. HTC’s new line up of Desire’s are set to fill in that void in the companies offerings. The company is pumping out these handsets one after the other, so much so the 610 couldn’t even get a minute to shine in HTC’s conference in at MWC this year. The Desire 610 was announced via a press release never to be heard from again…until now!

The HTC Desire 610 is another notch in the mid range category for HTC. The device while not super high end sports that infamous HTC build quality and of course the companies Sense UI. The initial announcement surrounding the 610 was the device is headed for Europe in May. The highly reliable @EVleaks however suggests the handset will also find its way into the stores of At&t here stateside. Unfortunately the leak did not come with any supporting evidence and there are currently no details surrounding a time frame or price point. What we do know however is the Desire 610 on any carrier will be a budget friendly device and should not cost much. The Desire 610 as it stands now starts with a 4.7 icnh touch screen display that offers up a 540×960 pixel resolution at 234 pixels per inch. It comes packing a highly capable Snapdragon 400 system chip that runs a quad core 1.2 GHz processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage and expandable micro SD memory options up to 64 GB. Around back of the 9.6mm thin housing is an 8 mega pixel camera with LED flash while up front a 1.3 mega pixel sensor resides. The handset will be powered by a 2040 mAh battery and will be controlled by an unspecified version of Android, let’s hope 4.4!
