HTC 10 Inch Puccini Jetstream shows off for the camera
Tablets are slowly taking over a mobile computing market that was once dominated by laptops and netbooks. This of course for good reason, the tablet has many advantages over its mobile counter parts, this assuming you did not jack Apple’s steez of course. HTC’s new tablet outshines its smaller cousins in looks alone, but does it have what it takes to make a dent in this predominately Apple dominated tablet space? The HTC Puccini or Jetstream is HTC first 10 inch tablet and it has been making the rounds.
HTC’ Puccini was initially spotted during the last week of July by BGR.Com and has recently leaked again, this time with a few more angles and confirmation on its 4G compatibility. This new tablet from HTC is currently code named Puccini, but is also going by another name and presumably the launch name of Jetstream. This new slate is a 10 inch device that sports a WXGA screen. Internally the new Jetstream runs a super fast dual core 1.5 GHz processor. It also houses 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and surely the ability to expand via a micro SD card. This excellent new table will ship with Android version 3.x or Honeycomb. The rear of the Jetstream shows off an 8 mega pixel camera that sports dual LED’s, and one can only assume a front facing camera is most likely staring at you in one of these pictures, although it’s not mentioned within the leaky information. The specs on this new slate are scarce at this point but the details above are tried and true from previous leaks, so it’s safe to assume they are spot on. One of the most important or head turning specs on this new Puccini Jetstream would be its At&t 4G LTE branding. Considering At&t’s LTE network is as of recently getting off its feet, it may be safe to believe this Puccini Jetstream tablet from HTC will be the carriers first LTE equipped tablet. According to the leak the Puccini Jetstream is currently undergoing testing and should be made available in the near future.
