LG Officially Launches the G Pro Lite
LG launches the dual SIM toting G Pro Lite! LG has been pumping out some rather intriguing handsets lately including the oversized Vu 3, the wildly successful G2 and the forth coming Nexus 5! But the question to where LG’s mid range and mildly priced handsets are, is partial unanswered. Recently the LG G Pro Lite found its way leaking into the headlines across the interwebs and it seems to be the perfect mix of mid range specs built into high end housing. Today LG has made the device official. Let’s see what is has to offer shall we?
The LG G Pro is currently making its rounds across the globe, but according to LG the G Pro Lite is set to “fulfill the needs of practical smart phone users” who want a larger screen. The LG G Pro Lite starts with the likes of Android version 4.1.2 and gives its end users access via a 5.5 inch IPS LCD touch screen that offers up a 540×960 pixel resolution. Internally the Pro Lite comes packing an massive 3140 mAh battery that powers a highly capable MediaTek MT6577 system chip that houses a dual core 1.2 GHz A9 processor. Additionally the Lite comes with a PowerVR SGX531 GPU, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage and expandable micro SD memory options. Around back of the Lite we’ll find an 8 mega pixel camera with LED and full HD video recording while a front facing camera sensor is in place clocking 1.3 mega pixels. Additional connectivity for the G Pro Lite can be found with its dual SIM card capabilities, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, micro USB, and DLNA. The G Pro Lite will begin its descent into the hands of end users this month starting in Latin American then moving to Russia, the Middle East, Asia and China. The price of the new smart phone has yet to be announced, but is expected to cost no more than $400 bucks.
