As the race for super smart phone immortality seems to be running wild within the ranks of the high end manufacturers, you may notice and sometimes question “why in the world would they build that”. Samsung, HTC and LG are all known for their amazingly high end smart phones with super powers that impress. But what about their mid to low range devices? Well, they are available and HTC has just added to the fold by introducing the likes of the Desire C. The Desire name goes way back and has solidified its name as a trusted handset. The Desire C is here to keep the trend going and provide some excellent specs to the lower end of the market.

The Desire C first surfaced to the internet under its code name the HTC Golf. It first showed off its picture taking capabilities and shortly their after was exposed via a leaked press shot/rendering of the device. Earlier this month a real picture of the device surfaced and as of Tuesday the Golf has become official taking on the honorable name of the Desire C. The Desire C stays in line with the Desire moniker by offering itself as a “premium designed, yet affordable smartphone”. So what can be expected from this new handset? Well, excellence. HTC is notorious for high quality hardware builds with premium materials that seemingly come together like destiny. The Desire C is no different. The Desire C uses a premium metal build to house its sensitive internals and screen and a metal bezel surrounds the camera lens. As stated in the press release the Desire C “offers an unrivalled level of design and user-experience for its class”. Within its metal frame workings the Desire C packs in a perfectly sized 3.5 inch HVGA display with a 320×480 pixel resolution at 165 pixels per inch. It will run with the likes of Android version 4.0 and HTC Sense 4.0. The operating system and UI will get is go from a single core Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 chip set that clocks in at 600 MHz. Backed by 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage the Desire C should be quick on the draw and ready to go. It can also accept expandable microSD or microSDHC memory up to 32GB and comes with an addition 25GB of cloud based DropBox storage. Around back the Desire C houses a flash-less 5 mega pixel cameras that can geo tag and record video. A front facing VGA quality 0.3 mega pixel shooter is also available for all your video conferencing needs. The Desire C also integrates Beats Audio and is said to have an NFC compatible cousin in the wood work. The Desire C will commence its availability to select European countries starting in May and will carry an price tag of around €200. Check out this short video from HTC about the new Desire C.

Anyone interested? Surely if the Desire C ever made it stateside it would be considerably cheaper on contract, but that may not be in the cards for this phone. Anyone kind of said about the Desire name being dragged into the budget phone market? Sound off in the comments and let us know what you think and before you leave be sure to check out our HTC accessories!

In the last few weeks we have seen and heard a lot from LG. Yesterday we touched on a new LG super phone that is making its leaky unofficial rounds on the interwebs. The LG LS970 or Eclipse as it is now called is an amazingly high powered handset that is sure to cause a stir upon its maiden voyage. However this device, if it ever comes into fruition is a few months out and the likes of LG’s current “super phone” is getting ready for its international debut. Back in February LG unveiled its Optimus 4X HD upon the world and now it’s time to get real!

After months of waiting in the shadows, ongoing competitive bench marks and being compared to all its competition the LG Optimus 4X HD is ready to meet some end users. With the likes of the Galaxy S III and the HTC One series devices, the quad cores are shipping and LG is joining the fray. The Optimus 4X HD will be available starting next month in “key markets starting in Western Europe”. So those in places like Germany, Sweden, Italy and Poland can expect the devices availability to start popping up next month, while “Asia, CIS, South and Central America” are slated to receive the handset in the “coming months”. In the current state of HD over load it seems that anyone can stamp an HD tag on pretty much everything, the difference? The LG Optimus 4X HD is indeed high definition. From its screen to its internals! This new handset packs in an amazing amount of power and a beautiful screen. From the outside in the Optimus 4X HD houses a 720p HD IPS LCD touch screen that provides a 720×1280 pixel resolution at 312 pixels per inch. Power for such an amazing screen comes from a super large 2150 mAh battery. Processing comes from a NVIDIA Tegra 3 Quad-Core chip set that clocks in at 1.5 GHz. It also sports a graphics processor, 1 GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. If that is not enough saving space expandable microSD and microSDHC options are available up to 32GB. Around back of its sleek design you’ll get an 8 mega pixel camera with LED flash that supports auto focus, geo tagging and full 1080p HD video recording. A front facing 1.3 mega pixel camera rounds out its photography skills. Other details include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, micro USB and HDMI connectivity. The Optimus 4X HD is running with the likes of Android version 4.0 and LG’s infamous UI overlay.

Super sleek, ultra powerful and an HD screen. What more could you ask for? Sound off in the comments below and let us know what you think of this new Optimus 4X HD from LG. And remember, we carry the finest most extensive selection of LG accessories for any make or model!

The last two weeks, all we could see, hear, touch or taste was Samsung and their still un-proven Galaxy S III but it looks as if some LG greatness has been brewing up in the background. The company has steadily been pumping out awesome handsets. The LG Viper was recently announced and has fit nicely in the Sprint line up, while the Optimus Elite is making head way with the Now Network and the likes of Virgin Mobile. The LG Lucid is another solid handset with LTE connectivity and the likes of Android version 2.3. But where is LG’s super flagship phone? Does it lay within the confines of the super large Optimus Vu, or it the Optimus LTE 2? Well, the according to some new leaky details, LG is plotting on one super powerful super phone that shares some high end qualities with the Korean bound Optimus LTE 2.

Last week the likes of the GSIII were running wild on the internet and it seemed as if there was no hope for a twist in the mobile news and just like that, fate, aka LG reared its ugly head! The LG LS970 aka “Eclipse” was first ousted by BriefMobile toward the end of last week and it immediately produced thoughts of what the Galaxy S III and or HTC One series devices could or should have been. This new LG device carries specs that pretty much all smart phone power users have been drooling over for the last few years! The site first spotted the handset earlier in the month with their sources leaking out some details surrounding specs, name and potential carriers. Fast forward a few days and the LG LS970 aka the Eclipse 4G LTE has become the device in hiding to watch. The newly uncovered LG LS970 is said to pack in all the heartwarming specs any mobile geek could dream of. From the outside in you’ll start with a 4.67 inch WXGA LCD touch screen that measures in at a 1280×768 pixel resolution. Around back a 13 mega pixel camera and flash are found while an incognito front facing 1.3 mega pixel shooter will be available for self portraits and video conferencing. The LS970 is said to measure in at a super thin 8.6mm thin and pack in some amazing power! Internally this new LG super phone is said to be using a seemingly new standard 2100 mAh battery and running on a Qualcomm quad core Krait processor. It measures in at 1.5GHz and is helped along with the power of an Adreno 320 GPU. If true, this new LG handset will indeed be housing above and beyond the best mobile chipset to date. But we all know that GHz is not the end of the line, and LG knows as well. The LS970 Eclipse will also be sporting 16 GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM as found in their recently announced Optimus LTE 2. The product code LS970 is assumed as a tell all for the LG super phones destiny as Sprint’s LG stock all usually starts with LS. According to the source the LG LS970 Eclipse 4G LTE should be making its way to the market place during the fourth quarter of this year!

So anyone interested? Anyone interested in the EVO 4G LTE going to wait a bit to see where this LG Eclipse ends up? I know I will be! Sound off in the comments below and let us know what you think of this new super phone from LG. Oh and remember the very best most affordable LG accessories are always in stock!

The Samsung Omnia name has been around the block, down the street and up a few mountains. With around 13 different Omnia models under their belt Samsung has entered a new Omnia branded model into the WP7 market place. Samsung previous iterations of the Omnia brand have all run a variation of Window’s Mobile, Windows Phone or Symbian and today a new iteration of the lineup has been put smack dab in the middle of the WP7 market place. So what can we expect from the Samsung Omnia M? Early Omnia lines were dedicated high end smart phones that gave power users a reason to love Samsung. As the death of Symbian and Windows Mobile has recently struck the industry the likes of WP7 has seemingly dumbed down the prowess of what the Omnia stood for. The Omnia M is here to tread that water.

Samsung recently announced their WP7 based Focus 2 that by all accounts is seemingly headed stateside for the likes of Ma’ Bell’s network. WP7 lovers in Europe, not so lucky! The Omnia M is the latest WP7 device from the company and does what it can to separate itself from its older sibling the Omnia W. Headed to the European country side in the very near future the Omnia M will surley have some convincing to do. The Omnia M is branded by Samsung has a phone with many hats, but most importantly as the device that will provide its end users with “non-stop entertainment”. This, citing features like Xbox Live on the Windows side of things and little features from Samsung like its ChatOne service, its “cloud based family network”, or its Smart DJ’ing Music Hub. So entertainment on the move! But can its hardware keep up with the demand? The Omnia M runs with the latest and so far the greatest in WP7 version 7.5 aka Mango. Its sports a very familiar candy bar or slate style design that houses a 4 inch Super AMOLED touch screen that measures in at a 480×800 pixel resolution, with 233 pixels per inch. Delving a bit deeper the chip set is clocked in at 1GHz and is indeed a single core set up. It also sports 384 MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage space. Around back the Omina M sports a center mounted 5 mega pixel, 720p HD Video recording, auto focus camera, off center speaker and an LED flash. A front facing camera is also in place for VGA quality pictures and video calling. Connectivity details will give you Bluetooth version 2.1, WI-Fi 802.11 b, g, n and micro USB connections.

No word on how much and when, but the where portion starts in Europe and will be fanning out to launch in other parts of the world shortly their after. No word on if it would ever come stateside, but I think we’re all probably better off without it. Sound off in the comments below and let us know what you think of the new Samsung Omnia M. Oh and remember, all the best Samsung accessories in all the worlds in all the universes can be had, right here!

Your new HTC One S is quite possibly the best smart phone on the market. It’s amazing build is super thin, its magenta connectivity, super fast and its power is nearly unrivaled. The slate style build on the One S uses a manufacturing process that turns a single piece of metal in to a practically indestructible body for your phone. The One S in case you were unaware uses a 720p 4.3 inch Super AMOLED touch screen that will show off all kinds of amazing media in crisp clear colors. It uses the very latest in Android version 4.0 and takes its 8 mega pixel camera to the next level with the likes of HTC’s new Sense 4.0. But with all these amazing features, advanced build and impossibly thin frame the One S is not literally indestructible, it cannot charge nor sync it-self and will surely need some help from our huge selection of HTC One S accessories. Let’s take a look at a few of the best shall we?

Protection should be nineteenths of the smart phone laws. Keeping your phone safe has never been easier with our selection of HTC One S cases and covers. Take this perfect HTC One Snap On Body Glove Case with kickstand belt clip for example. This amazing two piece case option is super light and keeps true to the thin presence of your One S without adding to much bulk. The case snaps together around your phone for a super secure fit and safe feel. Its outer shell is lined with a neoprene material that is very protective and also extremely grippy. The belt clip is optional, but also exceptional. It’s ‘anchor’ can be replaced with a small flat backing that will void the clip entirely. But if you do use the clip, you will get dual purposes out of it as it easily doubles as a vertical based kickstand. Keeping up with your favorite multi media has never been easier.

With protection in the bag, syncing and charging becomes paramount. Think about it. How good is that amazing phone when it is dead? With our huge selection of HTC One S chargers and data cables’ staying charged and synced has never been easier. Take this perfect HTC One S travel adapter with micro USB cable for example. This excellent combination pairs up a perfectly small USB based AC charging adapter with a standard good old fashioned micro USB sync and charge cable. Use the cable and the charger together to get the juice you need from a power outlet or take the micro USB cable on a journey to an alternate USB based power supply including your PC, Mac or any other USB based adapter. This amazing combination of power adapter and USB cable will prove itself invaluable as you find yourself using your One S more and more.

But what if you need some juice while on a long or even short road trip? There is not AC power outlet in your car is there? Well, even if there is your future car may not be as common as the wheels you need to ride in to get to grandmas. This HTC One S Dual USB Car Charging adapter is the perfect fit for any road trip.
