FaceTime Comes to the new iPod touch
Coming it 8GB, 32GB and 64GB models next week, the new iPod touch will go for $229, $299 and $399 respectively.
It gets even better too if you can believe it. Think, 3-axis gyro, iOS 4.1 and ‘Game Center.’ Game Center is going to be Apple’s response to Xbox Live and have similar leader board, multi-player support etc. as with Microsoft’s service. Remember those PSP ads running that try to take some shots at the iPhone? Sorry Sony, Apple just kicked your you know what.
Admittedly, I have been a little apprehensive reporting the new iPod touch rumors over the past month. Sure, I really wanted all this to come true but we have all been disappointed by launches and press conferences in the past. I can’t wait to go out and buy one of these iPods to replacing my current iPod touch.
Other iPod Announcements
Besides just the iPod touch announcement Apple made today, the rest of the iPod lineup got an update. Multitouch is coming to the iPod nano (anyone else want one of these jailbroken now?) along 24 hour battery life, photo support and more. The little iPod shuffle is getting some love too and will have buttons, playlists and more.
All of this stuff goes on sale next week and you can pre-order today! Sorry, I just feel like a kid at Christmas.
You going to be buying any of this? It worth an upgrade? Shout out and leave a comment.
