The Droid Incredible 4G LTE Is One Step Closer to your Pocket

Now that we are in the waiting period for the likes of HTC’s One series devices to hit the market new leaks of some excellent HTC hardware are starting to turn up. Recently we got a glimpse at some new mid range variations of the legendary HTC Desire make their leaky way to China. This new week brings us a step closer to a more familiar device to mobile users here in the US. The Droid Incredible has been on hiatus recently and it now looks as if a refresh is right around the corner.

Way back in December of 2011, the HTC Fireball appeared in internal Verizon documents and appeared to be an up and coming cousin to the Rezound. Later that month the Fireball showed up in additional LTE Verizon documentation but giving little information to its details. Fast forward to March of this year and the FireBall makes its way through the FCC with little doubt surrounding its Incredible name. Earlier this month the HTC Incredible 4G LTE leaked a bit more with some juicy details and a good old fashioned Mr. Blurrycam picture. Today, in a leap of leak! The HTC Droid Incredible 4G has shown face on Verizon’s very own DroidDoes.Com promotional website. The Incredible 4G which has seemingly been removed from the site was assumed to be published in error as its picture linked to the Razr Maxx’s buy it now page. While errors like this seem to be a practical mistake, it always makes me wonder. So now that the procedural leaks have hit the interwebs, what kind of phone will the Incredible 4G LTE be? Nothing short of Incredible, hopefully! Details on the new Incredible come from its months of leaks and mold it into one impressive handset. Firstly, and most importantly it will run with Verizon’s LTE 4G networks, giving it amazing data speeds. Its build starts with a perfectly sized 4 inch LCD touch screen with qHD resolutions. Internally the Incredible 4G is set to run with the latest in Android version 4.0 and assumed to use HTC’s Sense 4.0. When delving deeper into the Incredible 4G LTE you’ll find a 1.2 GHz dual core chipset that is backed by 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. Around back you will find an 8 mega pixel camera that according to some sources will have the same “rapid burst” abilities as found in the One series devices. A front facing VGA quality camera rounds out the Incredible 4G’s photography abilities. Other details include the likes of Beats Audio, NFC connectivity, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11a b/g/n. And the Incredible 4G LTE buck unfortunately stops right there. Sporting a very Incredible/Rezound design the Incredible 4G LTE was sporting a $299 price tag before it was removed from DroidDoes.com. More details will surely leak out before its announcement, but what do you think of it now?
