World Edition Droid 2, Droid Pro and a Motorola Tablet in the works
Every once and awhile leaks on certain companies plans get shown off to the world. Today is no exception as BGR.Com has unearthed Verizon’s roadmap for the future and the future looks bright. Droid’s here Droid’s there and a tablet to keep us going until release time.
Verizon has recently gone on a makeover rampage in their Droid sector introducing the new Droid X and Droid 2 and at the same time letting their first Droid go. But with new information leaking up out of BGR.Com it looks like the Moto Droid Saga with Verizon is far from over. The documents pictured are showing the world Verizon’s road map, this essentially showing off some new devices to hit the company’s lineup. The information pictured comes directly from Verizon’s internal inventory and show off a few interesting Droids. Firstly the Droid Pro from Motorola is a handset with a 4 inch screen a 1.3 GHz processor and global roaming capabilities. The Droid Pro unit carries a model number of A957 and is supposedly set to release around November. Other notable Droids from this round up are the two Droid 2 world editions. They are listed as A956, you can see them with a “white” or “wht” in the description leading us to believe that there will be a white and black version of the Droid 2 World edition. The release time on the Droid 2 world is not stated as the Droid pro; however, it is assumed that this release time will be very soon. Other goodies included within this leak surround the Moto tablet, or otherwise called the Moto Slab. The Android powered Motorola Tablet shows its face in this leak under the name MZ600. Unfortunately there is no further information regarding the MZ600, however, the details lead this to be a Motorola tablet, and according to BGR it seems as if Verizon has about 170k on order.
So as always guys, only time will tell!
Let us know what you think of Verizon’s Motorola Droid’s take over and if the MZ600 is truly a tablet from Motorola. You interested in a 1.3 Ghz Droid Pro?droid, Verizon, Android, droid2, motorola
