The Casio G’zOne Commando C811 Shows Off for the Camera, Release Still Unknown

The next generation Casio G’zOne C811 shows off for the camera. Do you remember the Casio G’Zone devices? Casio’s line up of ruggedized flip phones and more recently slate style smart phones are super rugged and ready to take on the worst this dangerous world has to offer. The latest smart phone G’zOne to hit the market place was the G’zOne Commando, an awesome device with a rugged build and standard set of specs. The Commando model was released back in 2011 and we have all been wondering when the next G’zOne Android was set to hit the streets. A new picture of the next generation G’zOne has just hit the presses thanks to the FCC and it looks like the new Commando 811 is on its way.

The Casio G’zOne Commando C811 as it’s called was initially spotted making its merry way through the halls of the FCC back in October of last year. The device while approved for consumption has still not been released to the big red buffet of handsets. Today, previously unpublished details of the handset have been made public by the government entity. The pictures seen here surely give us a better look at the handsets physical build, however details of what’s inside are still unknown. In its initial leak a Japanese bound G’zOne Type L was quoted as having a dual core 1.5 GHz processor, an 8 mega pixel camera and a 4 inch display. It is mostly expected that the Verizon C811 bound model will carry similar specs. Small details surrounding the American version however give it expandable micro SD memory options, a capacitive on screen Android based button set and a few different battery door options that support wireless conductive charging and an extended battery. While these small details give us no real insight into what the G’zOne Commando C811 is really all about it does lead us to believe we are just one step closer to its actual release.

Any G’zOne fans out there? Looking forward to the new Commando C811? Sound off in the comments below and let us know what you think. And remember, that the very best in Casio G’zOne accessories are here.
