Blu Announces the Studio 6.0
Blu announces its oversized Studio 6.0 smart phone! Blu is a relatively new manufacturer that has been pumping out some excellently affordable handsets since around 2009. The company while mostly prominent in Southern American countries is slowly starting to make an impression here stateside offering up some rather affordable smart phone options. Since its inception Blu has produced over seventy handsets ranging from super awesome smart phones to your average run of the mill feature phones. Today an announcement brings us one of the latter devices with a massive screen and a tiny price point.
The Blu Studio 6.0 is the next generation Studio device with a slightly larger touch screen panel. If however you are looking for a competitor to the HTC One or the latest Galaxy S5, you’d best be looking elsewhere. But, if you’re interested in a mildly spec’d handset with a huge screen running Android version 4.2.2, the new Blu Studio 6.0 has you covered! The Blu Studio 6.0 as you may suspect starts with a 6 inch HD touch screen that offers up a 1280×720 resolution. Underneath this large screen we’ll find a highly capable Mediatek MT6582 chipset that uses a quad core 1.3 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage and expandable micro SD memory up to 64 GB. Power is provided by a massive 3000 mAh battery. Around back the Studio 6.0 sports an 8 mega pixel camera while a 2 mega pixel sensor can be found up front. Additonally this new handset will sport Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 as well as HSPA+ data. All of this can be yours for about $250 bucks! While this handset is not the top of the heap with all the features, bells and whistles it is a more than capable device ready for most anything you throw at it.
