The Blackberry Storm 3 makes a video appearance
Blackberry diehards can rejoice as it seems that the Storm 3 is indeed on its way and by the looks of it sure-press may be a thing of the past. Just last month BGR published some pictures and specs of a few un release Blackberries that are assumed to be launched some point this year, today however a video of one of the more sought after models has shown up on YouTube. Codenamed currently as the “Monaco” it seems that this all touch Blackberry will be heading to Verizon’s big red network. So lets take a look at the newly found video of the Monaco test unit.
The rumored release date on the ‘Monaco’ is currently expected in September, so before the flames on the slight lag remember RIM has a while to go. We can see within the video this ‘Monaco’ is Verizon bound and will surely be a bit smoother then what is depicted. When looking over the video it is quite odd to me that the large touch screen ‘Monaco’ comes equipped with an optical track pad. The ‘Monaco’ surely seems like full touch screen Torch but does a bit better in the specifics. Let’s take a look. These specs were recently published in BGR’s expose on RIM’s 2011 line up. The ‘Monaco’ will has a 3.7-inch 800 x 480 capacitive display, will run Blackberry OS 6 on a 1.2 GHz processor. The ‘Monaco’ will have a 5 mega pixel camera that has 720p video recording capabilities along with 8 GB eMMC storage for apps and data as well as 512 of RAM. Other details include a microSD slot, a Magnetometer , Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR , Wi-Fi, Mobile hotspot and a 1230 mAh battery to power this new Blackberry monster. Sounds good to me!
Let us know what you think of the new Blackberry Storm 3 or Monaco. It’s seemingly headed to Verizon so all you on Big red waiting on the Torch can this be your savior? Or is the physical keyboard to much to part with?video, Storm 3, storm, monaco, BlackBerry
