Blackberry Curve 9300 Pictures Leaked
It was rumored back in April that there would be an addition to the Blackberry Curve line, offering up 3G to compete with the newly released Blackberry Pearl 3G. Well it seems as if that time is nearly here, can you feel the excitement in the air? I know I can’t either.
It looks as if we have some leak pictures of the new Blackberry Curve 9300 from Crackberry. If you’re a Curve 8520/8530 user you’re probably looking at this picture, like that’s not new, that’s my phone. Well it’s not quite, the leaked pictures of the new Curve 9300 reveal a chrome bezel surrounding the majority of the front of the phone and similar to the new Bold has a nice touch of chrome tracing the outline of the track pad. The leaked pictures reveal the Curve monarch still impressed on the back side of the device.
The leak of this device reeks of Curve 8530; however the “about this Blackberry” page pictured is naming this a Curve 9300, with the screen also stating the Curve 9300 is sporting 3G capabilities and supporting Wi-Fi. It looks as if the Curve series may have just gone through a “sell more of me make over”. Most are assuming that the Blackberry Curve 9300 will be readily available within the next few months and will most likely makes its first appearance on T-mobiles beloved network. The release of this Blackberry Curve 9300 will most likely be in line with the new Blackberry Pearl’s American debut.
I for one simply see this as a phasing out of the 8xxx line where all new Curves, Pearls and other larger models carry the 9xxx stigma.
What do you think, is this a waste of time for RIM, or does the site of a new curve excite you?curve 9300, BlackBerry, blackberry curve
