The Asus MeMo Pad 7 Ready to Ship

A new affordable tablet option from the Nexus 7 maker Asus has become official! The Asus MeMo pad was expected to be announced via the show floor at CES this past month unfortunately the tablet did not make the manufacturers starting lineup for the big show. Instead they pushed its launch back a few days and allowed it to fair on its own with a simple press release. The Asus MeMo pad is 7 inch tablet that may look like a Nexus 7 and may even feel the part, but internally it doesn’t quite live up to the same standard. With that said, the Asus MeMo Pad 7 is an awesomely affordable tablet option!

This new slate had its moments in the rumor mill as anything that resembles the beloved Nex7 is surely going to catch a few eyes. Official now we can get a better picture as to what the MeMo Pad 7 has to offer. First things first, the Asus MeMo Pad 7 will start at about $150 bucks! Off to a good start! She’ll run with the likes of Android version 4.1 and will offer up its end users control via a 7 inch HD display that clocks a 1024×600 pixel resolution at 169 pixels per inch. Internally this new tablet runs with a more than capable single core 1 GHz VIA WM8950 chip set that gets a bit of help from a Mali-400 GPU, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. Expandable microSDHC memory is also an option up to 32 GB. The MeMo Pad 7 comes with one singular front facing camera that offers up 1 mega pixel sensor. The MeMo Pad 7 will be offered up in colors! Amazing! You’ll have your choice of Cherry Pink, Titanium Gray or Sugar White. The Asus MeMo Pad 7 is very affordable at one hundred and fifty bucks and is readied for selected authorized Asus resellers right now!
