The Asus MeMo Pad 10 Leak Gets Ready for MWC
Another day, another tablet rumor! Just as the Asus MeMo Pad 7 gets officially official, its larger brother makes a pit stop in the rumor mill. In case you haven’t heard, Asus was the manufacturing genius behind the amazing tablet that is known as the Nexus 7. Unfortunately for Asus, Google took the Samsung route with the Nexus 10. But I have sneaking suspicion that if the Nexus 10 were made by Asus it would look and feel and most likely perform just a tab bit better than the companies MeMo Pad 10 seen here. That’s not to say the MeMo 10 isn’t an amazing tablet, its just hardware is generally better as a Nexus for some reason!
While the world is expecting Asus to launch the MeMo Pad 10 at MWC in the coming weeks someone, somewhere wants the world to know now! Late last week tabletsmagazine.nl published images of press renderings that show off the MeMo Pad 10 in all its glory! While the juicy details surrounding the tablet are minimal, what has leaked pins the MeMo Pad 10 as a healthy and most likely affordable 10 inch tablet option. These pictures show a seemingly thin, smooth build that sports Asus quality that will be offered up in at least a dark blue and white, but pink, and grey are also rumored options. The earlier rumors surrounding the Asus MeMo Pad 10 give it a 10.1 inch touch screen that is said to offer up a 1280×800 pixel resolution. Internally the MeMo Pad 10 is slated to run with a quad core Tegra 3 processor that will be backed by 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. We are also expecting the MeMo Pad 10 to come with expandable microSDHC memory options and tote fully functional front and rear facing cameras. Additionally we can expect the Asus MeMo Pad 10 to run with the likes of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean or higher out of the gate. With that, the buck stops! We’ll just have to wait until MWC to see what this MeMo Pad 10 has to officially offer.
Anyone interested? We expect the MeMo Pad 10 to be very affordable! Are you interested in an Asus tablet if it doesn’t bare the Nexus name? Sound off below and let us know and remember the best in Android accessories are here.MeMo Pad 10, MWC, Nexus, quad core, microSD
