Playing NES Emulators on your Android via a good old fashioned NES Controller.
Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A is the first thing I thought of when I saw this guys new toy and I must admit I surely am jealous. As the technology for our beloved smart phones grow so do the devices overall capabilities. In most cases app developers, manufacturers and even the OS builders are taking full advantage of harnessing the power of the new devices that release what seems like daily. Only problem is there usually are some snags. You know things that we end users are accustom too, like buttons when it comes to gaming.
No matter what phone you use there are surely some pretty awesome games on them. Even the simplest of games are surely impressive. But in case you didn’t know there are these things out there, there called emulators and they run ROMs of your favorite games from days past and yes emulators and ROMs are indeed being installed on Android phones. Really cool games, but a –not worth it– learning curve to play Mario on touch screen makes it no so desirable, but according to this modders vision o this EVO 4G the inevitable is surely here.
This new hack makes the original Nintendo controller live for all your emulator needs through the power of Bluetooth. So load up your favorite Rom grab up that dusty NES controller, then go pick up an Arduino Board and BlueSMiRF module then check the video and play on my friends.
