The Acer Liquid E1 and Liquid Z2 Are Made Official Ahead of their Debut
The Acer Liquid Z2 and Liquid E1 get official! You may be unfamiliar with Acer’s endeavors into the mobile space, but that shouldn’t hold you back from discovering some pretty awesome new handsets! The Acer Liquid E1 was first unveiled back in January and exposed itself to be a mid range slate style device with a rather nice design, running the latest in Android version 4.1.1. Today Acer issued a press release announcing the Acer Liquid E1 as well as an Acer Liquid Z2. Unfortunately details for the Z2 are a bit under exposed at this point, however it will indeed prove to be an additional smart phone in the mid range department. The two new Acer handsets are targeted at “feature phone upgraders” and end users who would be picking up their first smart phone.
The Acer Liquid E1 has previously been leaked and can be seen pictured here. Pictures of the Liquid Z2 have yet to surface however in just five short days; you’ll get your glance as both handsets are set to debut at MWC. While pricing is still under wraps, the handsets are set to launch in France, Belgium, Netherlands, Ukraine, Russia, the UK and Italy across a selective group of retailers and carriers. So what can you expect? The Acer Liquid E1 will run with a 4.5 inch qHD touch screen display that will give its end users access to Android version 4.1.1. Internally the handset will get its processing prowess from a 1 GHz dual core processor. Additionally the Liquid E1 will come with stereo speakers, a dual SIM card option, DTS audio and a 5 mega pixel camera. The Liquid Z2 is for the most part the same phone. It differentiates by using a 3.5 inch HVGA touch screen display however it keeps the dual core processor, and offers a 3 mega pixel shooter. The Liquid Z2 will use SRS audio as well as offer its end users dual SIM card functionality. No pricing on the handsets but we should be able to catch them in all their glory on February 24th at MWC in Hybrid Hall!
